Our Mission

To specialize in reaching Chinese students, scholars and their families in the Hyde Park vicinity for the sake of the Gospel.

Our Ministries

• Membership - Comprised mainly of Chinese immigrants and students from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and other Chinese speaking countries. There are many talented individuals in our church coming from a vast array of divers backgrounds; they are devoted to God.
• Loving Family - We learn and grow in God's love, and we love one another in the family of God. Many first-time new comers feel the overflowing of love and caring from our brothers and sisters. They like to stay at our church, to fellowship with us and to learn the truth.
• Bible Fellowship Groups - We believe that through the fellowships our passion for God will never cease and our compassion for people will ever increase.
• "New Seekers" Fellowship - Every sincere seeker will find the truth by careful study of the Bible and by having regular fellowships with believers.
• China Visitors - Many come from China for short visits of their families here. They have never heard of the Gospel in their lives and joyfully accepted the Lord Jesus Christ during their short stay in Chicago.
• The Elderly - We take great care of the elderly Chinese. We provide many opportunities for them, including the regular "Evergreen Fellowship" for seniors age 60 and over. Many age well beyond 90 years old are still in regular active worship.
• Children and Youth - A group of children age 3 to 15 are actively involved in our Sunday worship, enjoying the children's sermons. Many of them can sing, draw and play instruments. Children love to play and grow together in a church environment.
• Library - consisting of materials covering many areas of Christian life, including many famous Bible commentaries, a necessity to those who are serious about their faith and growth in it.
• Missions - We give regular financial and prayer support to other Christian organizations worldwide. We believe that missions and missionary support is a key to expand God's kingdom. Our church has sponsored several missionaries in China throughout the years. Our pastor has been to China for preaching and training, and visiting Chinese believers. We periodically invite missionaries as guest speakers.
